Combining the teaching resources of two outstanding institutions of learning is one way that we achieve excellence in training nurses. The Cooperative Nursing Program is a dynamic partnership between Bayonne Medical Center School of Nursing and Hudson County Community College. The program includes 37 general education credits and 33 credits in nursing theory and clinical practice. Upon completion of the program's requirements, graduates are awarded an Associates in Science Degree and a Diploma in Nursing. All graduates are eligible to take the National Council of State Boards of Nursing Licensure Examination for Registered Nursing. For those individuals who wish to further their education, articulation agreements with area colleges permit graduates to transfer credits and enroll in a program to earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
