In order to continue providing high-quality
health care, Bayonne Medical Center (BMC)
has voluntarily filed to reorganize under
Chapter 11 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in
Newark. This action will create a financially
stronger institution and enable the hospital to
continue operating on a normal basis.
We want to thank our Medical Staff,
employees and the HPAE; Bayonne, Hudson
County and state elected officials; the New
Jersey Department of Health and Senior
Services and the New Jersey Healthcare
Facilities Financing Authority, whose support
has never wavered.
We remain committed to carrying on the
mission of Bayonne Medical Center to provide
high-quality emergency, inpatient and
outpatient health care for all our residents for
many years to come.
