BMC Re-Accredited to Provide Continuing Medical Education
August 21, 2003 -- The Medical Society of New Jersey (MSNJ) recently re-accredited Bayonne Medical Center (BMC) as a quality provider of continuing medical education (CME). The four-year accreditation recognizes the medical center's proficiency in providing physicians with the highest level of educational opportunities, which in turn ensures the best possible medical care for patients. Additionally, BMC will be recognized by the national accreditation body, Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME)®.
During the on-site visit, the MSNJ peer review team commended BMC for its knowledgeable director of CME, Mitchell Mutterperl, M.D., and for the strong support the CME department receives from the medical center's senior executive team.
