Bayonne Medical Center Trustee Receives Prestigious Appointment to Berkeley College Advisory Board

5, 2004 -- Bayonne Medical Center (BMC) congratulates the vice chairman
of its Board of Trustees, John Grywalski, Jr., on his recent appointment
to the Berkeley College Advisory Board. Established in 1931, Berkeley College
specializes in business education and offers a wide range of career-focused
programs at its five campus locations in New York and New Jersey.
"John's extensive consulting experience in the healthcare and insurance
industries, combined with his leadership and vision, will greatly benefit
Berkeley as they explore opportunities within the healthcare industry,"
said Robert H. Evans, president and CEO of Bayonne Medical Center. "John
has consulted for many of the nation's largest healthcare providers and
systems as well as many international insurance companies. His knowledge
will be invaluable to Berkeley in their quest to advance academic excellence
in the healthcare education arena."
Earlier this year, Grywalski was appointed as chairman of the Life Sciences
Division of Aon Inc., a Fortune 500 Company. Grywalski is responsible for
providing consulting services in Aon's U.S. operations for pharmaceutical
companies and healthcare providers.
Grywalski is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelors degree
from Rutgers and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is a Board
of Trustee member for both QualCare, Inc. and the New Jersey Hospital Association.
Grywalski resides in Bayonne with his wife, Catherine Quinn, who is the
Principal at Woodrow Wilson School.
